On 09 January 09, the Rally Sailors were given an all island tour to
Phuket's four marinas. The "Meet and Greet the Fleet" Day
provided an opportunity for local marine contractors to have
"buyers" brought to their doorstep in want of refit, repairs and
supplies. Business was brisk. The one day event generated 3.25
million baht in marine sales inquiries. The Day finished with more
business networking at Kang Eng @ Pier Restaurant and the Friendship
Award.
Marina Blue Productions and the Tourism Authority of Thailand
look forward to seeing you at the start of the new year 2010 for the
second annual, Sail Thailand Rally "Meet and Greet the
Fleet" Day event in Phuket.
